We Love Entertainment focused on growing its original formats
Translated from an article originally published in Spanish.
Carlos Mesber, producer and CEO of We Love Entertainment, said that for the Mipcom market their priorities are to keep growing in the creation of original formats, to export their productions and to strengthen strategic partnerships internationally.
“We Love Entertainment has shown that Spanish-language content can be modern, relevant and global. We want to keep innovating, taking our productions into new territories and expanding our footprint on FAST platforms, streaming and free-to-air TV,” Mesber emphasized.
Mesber revealed that they are developing new entertainment formats, reality shows and documentary series aimed at the global Latino audience. “We Love Entertainment does not stand still: we keep growing, opening paths and betting on excellence. Our philosophy is clear: create original content, well produced and with soul. Because when there is passion, the screen shows it. And our FAST channel is a big bet,” he noted.
FAMA PLUS
Mesber said that We Love Entertainment’s FAST channel, Fama Plus, reflects the essence of the company: entertainment, innovation and a connection with new audiences. “It is the only channel dedicated 100% to celebrities and entertainment in Spanish,” he noted.
He said Fama Plus has them “very excited”. The company is working with Guadalupe D’Agostino, who leads its international distribution, and several deals are already under way. “The goal is for Fama Plus to be available in Latin America, the U.S. and Europe very soon. Growth has been steady and we have high expectations for its official launch,” the executive said.
THE SIÉNTESE QUIEN PUEDA FORMAT
Asked about the Siéntese quién pueda format, Mesber said it began as an opinion reality show hosted by Julián Gil and, over time, evolved naturally into a show about entertainment, current affairs and debate. It is now hosted by Chiquibaby and Jorge Bernal, and has established itself in Univision’s daytime schedule.

“In August we celebrated its anniversary with a special two-hour edition, with exclusive interviews and star guests. That experience confirmed for us that the format has enormous potential to grow. We are already in conversations with different markets about adapting it, because Siéntese quien pueda combines current affairs, investigation, humour and showbiz with a unique dynamic that hooks the audience. It is a living, adaptable format with a character of its own. We are negotiating with a very powerful country in content terms to launch a formatted version in 2026,” Mesber said.
MÁS FUERTE QUE NUNCA
Mesber also mentioned the project Más fuerte que nunca con María Celeste Arrarás. “This is a great project. Más fuerte que nunca con María Celeste Arrarás is a deep, intense production in which major celebrities open up in very personal interviews. The programme is available for international distribution through Guadalupe D’Agostino. It comes with everything; it is one of our big bets of the year,” he said.
On Desiguales, Mesber said it has been a revelation. “It is a powerful format with an identity of its own, and we are in conversations with distributors and networks about taking it to Latin America and Europe,” he said.
He added that Desiguales combines current affairs, humour and debate with a fresh, female perspective. “On top of that, its cast is first class — women of different nationalities and generations — which makes it universal and exportable. There is already interest in adapting the format, because Desiguales has everything it needs to succeed in other markets,” he said, announcing that the show launches this year in various Latin American countries.
As producer of the show, now three hours long, Mesber said it has been a “beautiful challenge and an enormous satisfaction. We multiplied the effort, the creativity and the passion. We Love Entertainment is making a difference, creating formats that connect and set trends.”
He closed by saying that both Desiguales and Siéntese quien pueda “are successful and complement each other perfectly. And yes, I say it with pride: we are a benchmark in the market. Many shows take inspiration from what we do, but the secret is in our authenticity.”
